Here are a few things that I made for my future SIL's bridal shower that we had back in January. I found this polka dot paper and just LOVED it! The wedding colors are blue, white and silver so I thought blue, white and brown would be nice for the shower. I didn't want the shower to look too much like the wedding and brown just looks so nice with just about anything!
These are the Menu Cards. Not a whole lot to them but they were a nice touch at each of the place settings. Each card included a wine glass charm that had the word "LOVE" on them that was made using shrinky dink material.
These are the Centerpieces. Again, pretty simple but I just love those polka dots!! The basket holds a bottle of my future SIL's favorite Apple Wine from Upstate NY, a jar candle, and two wine glasses. You can't see them in the picture, but the wine glasses each have a wine glass charm on them just like the one on the menu cards. One that reads "LIVE" and one that reads "LAUGH". So the "winner" of the centerpiece had a set of "LIVE", "LAUGH", "LOVE" wine glass charms!!
Hi Kimberly, It's Sherry from SU Mtgs at Nancy's! .. these are wonderful projects and I'm sure you SIL was Wowed! Love that you added the brown into your color palette, it looks lovely paired with the polka dots!Love the little charms too, what a Great idea!! Ok, I have to ask.. what Winery is the Apple Wine from, and have you tried Apple Vodka yet? We went to the Beak n Skiff Winery and got to see the (Distiller?)machine used to make the Vodka.. it's Massive! .. the Apple Vodka is Wonderful but over $30 for a small bottle so we passed! Anyway,TFS your projects and I hope you post more soon!
